What follows from it
The first thing is a warning about every price comparison in this market, including the one on this site. A book that publishes only its top-flight prices will look sharper than a book that publishes everything, and the difference will be entirely an artefact of what each one let anybody see. That is the whole reason the board grades each margin by what it was measured on rather than printing eight decimals in a column.
The second is more useful. A punter who moves from lower-division football and friendlies onto the biggest European leagues is charged several points less by the same book, on the same account, with no shopping around at all. Nothing else available in this market moves the number that far.

Does this mean one book is cheap and another is expensive?
It means less than the headline figures suggest. The same book prices its top-flight European football at a small fraction of what it charges on friendlies, so a comparison between two books is only meaningful when both were measured across the same mix of football.
Why not just publish the top-flight figure for every book?
Because it would be the wrong number for almost every slip. Most of what a Ghanaian punter actually bets is not the five biggest European leagues, and quoting the sharpest corner of a book as its price would flatter every book that publishes one and punish every book that does not break its prices down.
Which competitions are dearest?
