The price ladder and the method behind it
Ordered by price, and by nothing else
The board applies the whole model. This page strips it back to the one column the
publication is named for and sorts on that alone, so the two orderings can be compared
directly. Underneath, each margin is set out with the sample it came from and the words the
source record uses about it.
Ghanaian bookmakers ordered by the margin inside their own published football prices
The rightmost column is the board score out of ten and is deliberately out of order here.
The book at the top of this ladder sits 6.0 on the model and
5 on the board.
How far one row can be compared with another
Three grades, computed from the sample rather than assigned by anybody. The rule is
short enough to argue with:
Comparable: the book’s own current prices, thirty or more of them, across more than the top flight. four of the eight books.
Indicative: the book’s own current prices, but a small sample or the top flight only. two of the eight books.
Weak: not the book’s own current prices. two of the eight books.
Source is tested before sample size, because a figure that did not come from the
bookmaker is not rescued by a large sample. That is why the archived capture is graded
down even though it holds ten prices, while 1xBet
keeps its grade on thirty-six.
Every margin, and what it rests on
Each card sets out the sample, where it came from, how much of the football calendar it
covers and the date it was read. Those four fields are what the grade is computed from, so
a reader can check the grade against them rather than taking it on trust.
4.21% marginmean of 8the book’s own coupon, read in a browserfootball across several divisionsread 9 August 2026
Indicative
Eight mainstream three-way markets read off the live Ghanaian site in a browser, spanning a European final, Dutch, Scottish and Portuguese league football. Median 4.23 and range 3.45 to 4.96, so the eight agree with each other closely. Eight is still eight.

5.08% marginmedian of 860the book’s own pricing feedevery football match on the bookread 9 August 2026
Comparable
Every football event on the book carrying a full-time three-way market, crawled across all 235 of its event group pages. Quartiles 4.93, 5.08 and 7.03, so the spread inside the book is wider than the spread between most books on this page.

5.12% marginmean of 10the book’s own coupon, read in a browsertop-flight football onlyread 9 August 2026
Indicative
All ten England top-flight matches on the book’s own coupon for one weekend. Top-flight football is the sharpest thing any book prices, so this figure flatters Soccabet against the books measured across every division, and its all-football margin is unmeasured.

5.34% marginmean of 10an archived capture of the book’s own feedfootball across several divisionsread 7 September 2023
Weak
The book’s own Ghana pre-match feed, but from an archived capture three years old, taken because the live site is unreachable from where this was read. All ten prices sat in a narrow band. Margins move, and three years is a long time for them to move in.

6.12% marginmedian of 491the book’s own pricing feedevery football match on the bookread 9 August 2026
Comparable
Every football match carrying a three-way market on the book’s own Ghana pricing feed. The feed also publishes its own probability field for each outcome, summing to exactly one against an implied-odds sum above it, which is how the applied margin was confirmed as real rather than a parsing artefact.

6.70% marginmedian of 36the book’s own pricing feedfootball across several divisionsread 9 August 2026
Comparable
Real football fixtures on the book’s own feed, after excluding fourteen aggregate specials whose draw prices were implausible. The median rather than the minimum, because this book runs one very sharp league that almost nobody in Ghana bets.

6.71% marginmedian of 50the book’s own pricing feedfootball across several divisionsread 9 August 2026
Comparable
The fifty most-popular football events of the day on the book’s own line feed, taken across every division it prices. Its top five European leagues alone are far sharper on their own, which is a fact about the competition and not about the book.

8.98% marginmean of 2a third-party aggregatortop-flight football onlyread 9 August 2026
Weak
Two Spanish top-flight fixtures on one weekend, from a third-party aggregator, because the book’s own site served no prices at all. Two prices is not a margin, it is an anecdote about a margin, and this figure must never be read as what the book charges across its book.

The model the board uses
100 points, six criteria, and every book on the board answered all six. A
criterion no record can answer is not scored and is not filled in with a plausible
default, which is the mistake that once had every bookmaker in this market carrying an
invented withdrawal time.
Criterion
Points
What it reads
Reaching a person
22
A published phone line, an email address, and whether round-the-clock chat is claimed first-party rather than by somebody selling the brand.
Licence and standing
22
Registration with the Gaming Commission of Ghana, how many licences the book holds, and how long the register has carried it.
The price
20
The margin built into the book’s own published three-way football prices. No margin on file means no place on the board.
Getting paid
18
The withdrawal speed the bookmaker itself publishes. Nobody at this desk has held a stopwatch to one.
What you can bet on
10
How many sports the book actually carries in Ghana, counted from its own navigation or its own feed.
The sign-up offer
8
What the welcome offer is worth once the turnover requirement is cleared. The smallest weight in the model, deliberately.
What nobody here has done
No account on this site belongs to this desk. Nothing has been deposited, no slip has been
placed and no withdrawal has been timed with a stopwatch. Every price is one the bookmaker
published, every withdrawal figure is the one the bookmaker states about itself, and the
reading date sits beside each one.
Questions this page gets asked
Why is a margin not just a margin?
Because these eight were not measured the same way. One is the median across 860 of a book's own football events; another is the mean of two fixtures from a third party, taken because the book's own site published no prices at all. Both are honest figures and only four of the eight can be set side by side without a caveat.
How is the payout percentage worked out?
A three-way market whose implied chances add up to more than one is overpriced by that excess, and the excess is the margin. Divide one hundred by one plus the margin and you have what comes back on a cedi of turnover to somebody betting in line with those same prices.
Why is the price only twenty points of the model?
Because a price you cannot reach is not a price. Reaching a person, holding a licence with the regulator and being paid carry 62 points between them. The ladder on this page is the price on its own; the board applies the whole model.
How old are these prices?
All but one were read on 9 August 2026. The exception is the archived capture, taken from 2023 because that book's live site cannot be reached, and it is graded down for exactly that reason.
